Nash Buckingham

nash buckinghamNash Buckingham (1880-1971) was an avid outdoorsman and accomplished and beloved writer from Tennessee.  Buckingham wrote on a variety of hunting topics, with a special focus on waterfowl and quail.  Buckingham was known as a polite southern gentleman, an athlete, and conservationist.  His tales are well remembered by many in outdoor circles.

    Nash at one time owned and wrote about a Springer (I believe he called him Chub). I can’t recall the book or story. I remember that his description of the dog fit mine to a t. Can you help?
