I admire your thumbnail biographies. You cast your literary imagination with precision and grace. However, I’m surprised that you have not included Harry Middleton on your list. His angling memoirs–The Earth is Enough, On the Spine of Time and Rivers of Memory, among others–in my opinion comprise some of the best American writing on fly fishing.
